Real World Images (RWI) is built
around the concept as treating photography as a method of recording our
world and the various environments. Based mainly on travel photography, RWI
seeks to portray the various wonders were all see but tend to take for
granted.
RWI was originally envisaged back in
2003 as a simple gallery of travel photos but now in 2009 it has been
revised to include travel photography chronicles, general information on
camera technology and how it is applied and news and views on camera
equipment. The site is not strictly limited to stills camera as there is a
growing convergence between the stills and video cameras. Also, the camera
phones are getting better in terms of the image quality they are capable of.
They are still outclassed by the compact cameras but have the advantage that
they are always with people and so more likely to be used.
There is no doubt that the digital
camera has broadened the appeal of the appeal of photography and RWI through
its various articles and reviews shall try to reflect that.
Photography or at least the act of
trying to take a photo has been a hobby of mine since I was in my teens. My
reason for taking photos initially was as a method of recording an event
however I soon found that what I captured did not instill or portray the
same feeling I got from the original event.
Photographs
available for commercial use are on the Alamy website. Click on the
logo here or wherever the logo is found on the site to go direct to the

What is Talent?
Haunted by the past but living in the present my mind can only think
of the future and whether I can achieve. It's a challenging world
and I wish I can only find the talent and strength to bring me up to
the mark.
